DENVER — Colorado Rockies co-owner Charlie Monfort was arrested Monday on suspicion of drunk driving.
Monfort, a Greeley native, was pulled over in Windsor just before 10 p.m. for allegedly driving 10 to 19 mph over the speed limit, the Greeley Tribune reported. Police determined that he may have been intoxicated.
Monfort, 54, was released Tuesday on his own recognizance. He will appear in court Nov. 19 to face a misdemeanor DUI charge.
He issued a statement late Tuesday.
