Colorado Ballet announces 2012-2013 Season

The Arc of Colorado Celebrates Developmental Disability Awareness Month with Film Festival

 

In celebration of Developmental Disability Awareness Month, The Arc of Colorado and its 11 local chapters will host a film festival featuring short films starring or produced by people with developmental disabilities. The festival will be held at the Denver Film Center on Colfax on Tuesday, March 20.

Denver Museum of Nature & Science hosts Slithering Spring Break March 24 through April 1st

The Denver Museum of Nature & Science invites families and visitors of all ages to enjoy a Slithering Spring Break from Saturday, March 24, to Sunday, April 1. The weeklong event celebrates the Museum’s new temporary exhibition Lizards & Snakes, which features 60 live animals from all over the world. Participants will experience reptile fun throughout the Museum, including reptile-themed games, art projects, live animal demonstrations, and more.

Artists Sought for Waterfowl Competition

Colorado Parks and Wildlife is soliciting original artwork entries for the 2012 Colorado Waterfowl Stamp Art Contest. This year's species of focus is the Ross's goose, a small white goose that is often confused with the snow goose. The deadline for artists to submit entries is 4 p.m., Friday, March 2.
