Douglas County Open Space Day at Prairie Canyon Ranch – June 16 | Community Spirit

Saturday, June 16, 9:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Join Douglas County Open Space and Historic Douglas County for a day to explore this incredible working ranch. Guided horse rides and hikes will head out at between 9:30 and 10:00. (BYO Horse – riders register with Janet at 303-688-3280; no others need to register.) History demonstrations and tours, displays, barnyard animals, and live music will be free to the public. Chuck wagon meals will be available for purchase. Bring your friends and family to the 978-acre ranch 6 ½ miles south of Franktown (or 2 miles south of Castlewood Canyon State Park) on Highway 83/Parker Road.
