WHAT:             Free coffee is back! Once again, McDonald’s will be giving away free coffee for two weeks! They are confident that when consumers try their tasty, high quality coffee, they’ll love it! Customers can pick up a FREE Small Premium Roast Coffee from Monday, February 20 – Sunday, March 4th in the drive thru or inside the restaurant at any participating McDonald’s in Denver and the Front Range.

Douglas County liquor compliance checks conducted at businesses

The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office conducted liquor compliance checks in March, 2011 over Spring Break.

Of the sixty three businesses checked in the City of Castle Pines, the Town of Larkspur and unincorporated Douglas County, sixty one passed and two failed.

The two that failed were:  Western Convenience in Castle Rock and Las Fajita in the City of Castle Pines.

Taste of Douglas County tickets on sale

The Taste of Douglas County, the largest and premier food tasting event in Douglas County, will be held Thursday, August 19, 2010.  Hours of the event are 5-8 PM at the Douglas County Events Center on the grounds of the Douglas County Fair in Castle Rock.  This beautiful indoor, air conditioned facility offers the perfect setting for this type of event.  It also offers plenty of free parking.
